The site
Everything on deseretmarketing.com — the paintings, the writing, the code — belongs to Deseret Marketing, LLC. You may view it, link to it, and quote brief parts of it. Don't scrape it wholesale or resell its content. Don't use the site for anything unlawful, and don't attempt to disrupt it. Some artwork on this site was produced with generative-AI tools, then composed and finished by us. If you want something from it, ask — we're generous.
The free mockup
If we build you a mockup, we grant you a free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use it however you like — whether or not you ever hire us, including having someone else build it. No obligation, no catch. It's a demonstration of what we'd build, made with care but provided as-is.
The free systems audit
A 30-minute working session plus a written deliverable (your workflow map, the hours-lost math, three automations with payback estimates). Also free, also yours. The numbers in it are careful estimates, not guarantees.
Paid work
Engagements are scoped in writing before anything starts. Website builds are quoted fixed after we've seen your situation. Ongoing work runs on one monthly retainer, month-to-month after 90 days. On payment, the finished work is yours outright (we keep only our pre-existing tools and methods). We don't show or name your business anywhere — as a case study, portfolio piece, or reference — without your written permission.
The 90-day promise
"90 days. If the value report doesn't show the retainer paying for itself by month three, we make it right — extra work or a clean exit. No hard feelings."
No warranties (the honest part)
The site is provided as-is. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our liability for anything arising from this site or from free services is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (for free services: nothing). We carry no liability for indirect or consequential damages. Some places don't allow these limits — there, they apply to the maximum extent allowed.
The site vs. paid work
These terms govern your use of the website. Paid engagements are governed by their own written agreement; if the two ever disagree, the signed agreement wins.
Accessibility
We build this site to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and test for it. If any part of it blocks you — visually, by keyboard, by screen reader, any way — email hello@deseretmarketing.com and we will fix it.
Severability
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Changes
If these terms change, this page changes and the date above updates.
Governing law
The laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; any dispute proceeds in the state and federal courts located in Utah.
